Primary Care Physician

Preventive Medicine

Preventive care is the care you receive to prevent illnesses or diseases. It also includes counseling to prevent health problems. Providing these services at no cost is based on the idea that getting preventive care, such as screenings and immunizations, can help you and your family stay healthy.

Birth Control Counseling

Improving the quality of contraceptive counseling is one strategy to prevent unintended pregnancy. We identify aspects of relational and task-oriented communication in family planning care that can assist providers in meeting their patients' needs.

STD testing

Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) or sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are generally acquired by sexual contact. The organisms (bacteria, viruses or parasites) that cause sexually transmitted diseases may pass from person to person in blood, semen, or vaginal and other bodily fluids.

End of life care / Palliative Care

Palliative care is treatment, care, and support for people with a life-limiting illness, and their family and friends. It's sometimes called 'supportive care'. The aim of palliative care is to help you to have a good quality of life – this includes being as well and active as possible in the time you have left.

End of life discussions

End-of-life discussions should address a broad array of issues central to the dying patient and family. Discussions that focus solely on resuscitation fail to recognize important physical and psychosocial concerns. Most patients, as they near death, contend with similar fears, needs, and desires.

Skin biopsies

A skin biopsy is a procedure that removes a small sample of skin for testing. The skin sample is looked at under a microscope to check for skin cancer, skin infections, or skin disorders such as psoriasis.

Pap Smears

A Pap smear, also called a Pap test, is a procedure to test for cervical cancer in women. A Pap smear involves collecting cells from your cervix — the lower, narrow end of your uterus that's at the top of your vagina. Detecting cervical cancer early with a Pap smear gives you a greater chance at a cure.

Telemedicine

Telemedicine refers to the practice of caring for patients remotely when the provider and patient are not physically present with each other. Modern technology has enabled doctors to consult patients by using HIPAA compliant video-conferencing tools.

Immigration Evaluation

When you apply for a green card in the United States, you usually need to have a medical examination. The exam must be done by a doctor who is authorized by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). We're here for you!

School/Work Evaluation

We will be examinating the patient for any possible medical signs or symptoms of a medical condition. It generally consists of a series of questions about the patient's medical history followed by an examination based on the reported symptoms. Together, the medical history and the physical examination help to determine a diagnosis and devise the treatment plan. This data then becomes part of the medical record.

Mental Health

Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood. Over the course of your life, if you experience mental health problems, your thinking, mood, and behavior could be affected. Many factors contribute to mental health problems, including:

- Biological factors, such as genes or brain chemistry

-Life experiences, such as trauma or abuse

-Family history of mental health problems

Mental health problems are common but help is available. People with mental health problems can get better and many recover completely.
